RN - Operating Room

New Braunfels, TX | Acute Care

Contract | Days | Onsite

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis in the Operating Room
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered
• Monitor and maintain competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management related to patient care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Operating Room specialty experience required
• Ability to obtain facility-issued traveler badge and unique employee  the facility HR department
• Proficiency with Allscripts EMR or ability to quickly adapt to its use

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Operating Room setting
• Experience with Allscripts electronic medical records system
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate care to clinical staff effectively
