Outside Sales Representative; OSR​/Account Manager

About The Role

Tejas Equipment Rentals is looking for a driven, self-motivated Outside Sales Rep to grow our customer base and manage accounts in the New Braunfels and Northern San Antonio Territory. You'll be the face of Tejas in the field – building relationships, matching customers with the right rental equipment, and closing deals that keep our business moving. This is a road-based role with real earning potential for someone who thrives on independence and results.

• Own your territory: travel to meet existing and prospective customers face-to-face
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Hit and exceed rental sales goals by landing new accounts and retaining existing ones
• Present equipment solutions tailored to each customer's specific job needs
• Negotiate and close sales deals in line with company guidelines
• Coordinate with our dispatch, drivers, and operations teams to ensure smooth service and delivery
• Track leads, accounts, and sales activity accurately
• Stay current on competitor pricing and market trends

• 4+ years of outside sales experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong negotiation, networking, and customer service skills
• Self-starter who can manage a territory independently
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be 24 years of age or older

Earn up to 4% commission on rentals – the more you grow your territory, the more you make.

This role involves both office and fieldwork in all weather conditions, including work around heavy equipment and machinery.
