Business Solutions Advisor​/Outside Sales

Are you a B2B sales professional who wants more than a list of leads and a monthly quota?

At GVTC, we’re growing our Business Sales team and looking for a Business Solutions Advisor who wants true ownership of a book of business, the opportunity to build long-term customer relationships, and the ability to grow alongside one of the Texas Hill Country’s most established communications companies.

This is consultative selling.

You’ll work directly with small and mid-sized businesses to understand how they operate, where technology can make them stronger, and which solutions will help them stay connected, secure, and ready to grow.

You’ll represent solutions including fiber internet, business voice, mobile, security, managed services, and other business technologies.

• Own and grow an assigned book of business
• Develop long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers
• Prospect for new customers and identify opportunities within existing accounts
• Lead the full sales cycle from discovery and proposal through negotiation and close
• Grow accounts through additional locations, upgrades, and complementary services
• Meet customers where they do business through regular field activity
• Build your network through chambers, business associations, community events, and referral relationships
• Partner with internal teams to ensure customers receive an exceptional experience
• Stay informed about your market, competitors, and emerging customer needs

• Have at least 2 years of direct B2B sales experience
• Have a track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales goals
• Are comfortable prospecting and initiating conversations with business decision-makers
• Understand consultative or solution-based selling
• Can translate technology into business value
• Know how to build relationships beyond the initial sale
• Are self-motivated, accountable, and comfortable managing your own schedule and territory

Experience in telecommunications, technology, managed services, or business services is strongly preferred. Experience managing a book of business with quota responsibility is a plus.
