As an Equipment Mechanic II, you will have the chance to work onsite, diagnosing and repairing a variety of construction equipment to ensure our fleet is in top condition.

What's your day like?

As an Equipment Mechanic II at Tejas Equipment Rental in New Braunfels, TX, you can expect to start your day by inspecting and performing routine maintenance on a variety of construction equipment. Throughout the day, you will diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and make necessary repairs to ensure our equipment operates efficiently and safely. Your typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays required to support project demands.

You will work closely with our team to prioritize tasks, maintain accurate maintenance records, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. This role offers a dynamic and hands-on opportunity for someone new to the job to learn, grow, and excel in the construction industry.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and passion for working with construction equipment.
  • Attention to detail for diagnosing and solving complex mechanical issues.
