Pipefitter – Carbon Steel (Schedule 40)
Trade Management is partnering with a leading industrial contractor in San Antonio, TX to hire an experienced Pipefitter for an immediate start.
Start Date:
ASAP
Pay: $26.00–$30.00/hour (DOE)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Pipefitter with experience installing and fabricating Schedule 40 carbon steel piping on commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate can work independently from blueprints and isometric drawings while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Install, fit, and assemble Schedule 40 carbon steel piping
- Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
- Measure, cut, bevel, thread, and prepare pipe for installation
- Lay out piping systems and ensure proper alignment
- Install valves, flanges, fittings, and supports
- Perform field modifications and repairs as needed
- Coordinate with welders and other trades to complete installations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- 3+ years of industrial or commercial pipe fitting experience
- Experience with Schedule 40 carbon steel pipe
- Ability to read blueprints and pipe drawings
- Proficient with pipe fabrication tools and equipment
- Reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 preferred
