The Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs across our properties. You'll handle everything from basic carpentry and plumbing to electrical troubleshooting and grounds maintenance. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills while keeping our beautiful properties in top condition. This position reports to the Facilities Manager and is a seasonal, full-time or part-time position.

• Monitor the property and equipment daily for maintenance issues
• Perform basic carpentry repairs (doors, windows, decks, fencing)
• Drywall patching and painting as needed
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Basic plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, drains, water heaters)
• HVAC filter changes and basic troubleshooting
• Pool and waterpark equipment monitoring
• Golf cart maintenance and repairs
• General grounds maintenance and upkeep

• Update Facilities Manager on work order status
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Report inventory needs for supplies and parts
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed

• 1-3 years of experience in a trade (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC)
• Trade certifications desired but not required
• Valid driver's license required
• Basic computer skills for work order management
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Work with minimal supervision
• Maintain a positive work environment

• Able to lift up to 80 lbs
• Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights
• Regularly move throughout the park
• Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
• Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
• Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
• Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary
