Qualifications and Desired
Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Texas
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to students K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document progress and maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Offer consultation and resources to educators and families to support speech-language development in the classroom
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program improvements
