Healthcare Consultant, Dentistry / General Dentist, Dental Office
We are looking for a bit of a unicorn
Our office is seeking a personable, reliable individual to assist with
front-office administrative duties one day per week (preferably Mondays) at our dental practice. This could be perfect for someone who is semi-retired, a former dental assistant or hygienist, or someone working part-time who would enjoy an extra day without clinical responsibilities.
This role is patient-facing, so we are hoping to find someone who enjoys welcoming people, staying organized, and helping new patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk in the door. Responsibilities would include greeting patients, coordinating appointments, and assisting with new patient communication.
We have a wonderful team and a supportive, positive environment, and we would love to find someone who wants to be part of that -- just on a lighter schedule.
If this sounds like you, or someone you know, please send me a message!
No evenings, no weekends! This part-time position allows you to have your weekends and evenings free to be with your friends and family.
The main focus of this position is patient interactions with scheduling, reviewing treatment, and financials. We need someone with excellent customer service and phone skills with attention to detail. You would also be responsible for helping to ensure that the new patient forms have been completed, which sometimes requires follow-ups with patients.
This position is important in helping ensure the office has a successful and productive schedule for our doctors and hygiene team. This means constantly reviewing the schedule and reaching out to patients to optimize our scheduled time.
Our team is dedicated to providing a high level of care to our patients in the service we provide and the materials we use. We aim to ensure we are giving patients treatment recommendations based on their specific needs in a welcoming and comfortable space.
Schedule optimization is a big part of the position. Should a patient have to change their reserved appointment time, what can be done to recover that lost production? Ensuring the new patients are seeing a great flow to welcome them into our practice. Do we have forms completed, current films transferred, and sufficient information in the appointment to ensure that Dr.
has a successful first visit with the patient?
You will be working with a fun team that enjoys dentistry and caring for their patients. We are a very dedicated group of individuals providing quality dental treatment. Despite this being a one day a week commitment, you will be welcomed fully as one of the team. There is also potential to pick up additional hours when another administrative team member is out for any time off.
Our mission is to provide a positive, fun work environment, providing exceptional patient care where someone can expand their career through education and practice in a family environment. Our purpose is to guide our patients along a path of optimal dental health by delivering the
highest possible level of care in a friendly, safe, and comfortable environment. Through our team of professional, compassionate, and committed employees, we aim to improve patient health, appearance, self-confidence, and overall quality of life.
