Position: Medical Device Assembler I - Rotating 12 Hour Day, 6th Shift

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Strong comprehension and understanding of process and procedures and the ability to describe them in detail.
  • Strong tenure with previous employment.
  • Strong English skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong hand dexterity ability to work with small parts and tools.
  • Comfortable working in a clean room environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand while running power equipment.
  • Manual dexterity including grasping and pinching required.
  • 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses required.
  • Finger cots & Nitrile gloves maybe required.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble lifesaving and life extending medical devices.
  • Follow rigorous clean room practices for working inside certified clean room assembly areas.
  • Assemble finished medical devices and medical device components per work instructions.
  • Inspect and test medical devices per documented visual inspection requirements and inspection plans.
  • Accurately fill out forms such as travelers and component reconciliation forms.
  • Label product with medical device labeling, install instructions for use, warranty cards, etc. into device packaging.
  • Operate automated medical adhesive dispensing equipment and other various assembly equipment.
  • Operate tray sealing and pouch sealing equipment and inspect for packaging integrity.
  • Use microscope and/or vision system for complex inspections per work instructions.
  • Interpret written instructions.
  • Work with team members to assemble products.
  • Operate machinery to assemble products.
  • Perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
