Medical Device Assembler I Rotating 12 Hour Day - 4th Shift About the Opportunity

    New Brighton, MN
  • Schedule:

    4th Shift – Week 1:
    Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday 6:50 am–7 pm;
    Week 2:
    Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 6:50 am–7 pm. Overtime optional when available. Initial training may be on 2nd or 3rd shift.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Strong comprehension of processes and procedures; ability to describe them in detail.
  • Consistent and reliable employment history.
  • Strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Good hand dexterity for working with small parts and tools.
  • Comfortable working in a clean‑room environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand while operating power equipment.
  • Manual dexterity including grasping and pinching.
  • 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses.
  • Finger cots and nitrile gloves may be required.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble lifesaving and life‑extending medical devices.
  • Follow rigorous clean‑room practices within certified assembly areas.
  • Assemble finished medical devices and components per work instructions.
  • Inspect and test devices per documented visual inspection requirements and inspection plans.
  • Accurately complete forms such as travelers and component reconciliation forms.
  • Label product with medical device labeling, installation instructions, warranty cards, etc., for device packaging.
  • Operate automated medical adhesive dispensing equipment and other assembly equipment.
  • Operate tray‑sealing and pouch‑sealing equipment; inspect for packaging integrity.
  • Use microscope and/or vision system for complex inspections according to work instructions.
  • Interpret written instructions.
  • Collaborate with team members to assemble products.
  • Operate machinery to assemble products.
  • Perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
