We are seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Calibration Test Technician to join a production team responsible for calibrating, testing, troubleshooting, and preparing advanced laboratory automation systems for shipment.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, calibration, instrumentation testing, or laboratory automation equipment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring products meet quality and performance standards before customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Calibrate, test, and prepare complex laboratory instruments and automation systems for shipment
- Follow established manufacturing and testing procedures to ensure product quality and compliance
- Perform functional verification and system performance testing
- Serve as the first line of troubleshooting for instrument and equipment issues
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, and operational problems during production testing
- Document test results and maintain accurate production records
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards
Associate's degree in a technical field such as:
- Computer Technology
- Life Sciences
- Chemistry
- Engineering Technology
- Related discipline
OR
Equivalent combination of education and substantial relevant work experience
- 3 5 years of experience in:
- Calibration
- Manufacturing testing
- Instrumentation support
- Production technician roles
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of:
- Statistical methods
- Basic data analysis
- Testing techniques and formulas
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and willing to ask questions to drive problem resolution
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Life Sciences
- Chemistry
- Engineering Technology
- Related technical discipline
- Experience with:
- Calibration equipment
- Laboratory automation systems
- Diagnostic instrumentation
- Manufacturing test environments
- Familiarity with:
- Centrifuges
- Plate readers
- Automated liquid handling systems
- Experience working with laboratory automation platforms from companies such as:
- Beckman Coulter
- Agilent
- Hamilton
- Knowledge of chemistry workflows and liquid handling technologies
