Position

Title:

Manufacturing Technician

Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing

Location:

New Brighton, MN

Duration: 12+ Months

Pay rate: $25.35/hr on w2.

Shift

3rd shift, 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Responsibilities
  • Sanding and cleaning fragile ceramic substrates boards
  • Assemble medical devices and components according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform manual and mechanical assembly using hand tools, microscopes, tweezers, and precision equipment.
  • Follow detailed work instruction and perform data entry into electronic routers.
  • Ensures safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.
  • Work with Manufacturing Lead and/or Specialist to ensure customer demand and the production schedules are met.
  • Participate in basic problem-solving activities to ensure stable operation of the work cell.
  • Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Manufacturing Lead or Value Stream Supervisor.
  • Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work.
  • Participate in DBS concepts and continuous improvement activities within designated work area.
  • Sustain 5S activities by maintaining a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • Participate as an active member of the production team and assist in product processing.
  • Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Quality System.
  • Complete required documentation relating to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Ability to read and follow documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications
  • Ability to work with others collaboratively.
Preferred
  • Medical device manufacturing experience
  • Microscope experience
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems
