Position
Title:
Manufacturing Technician
Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing
Location:
New Brighton, MN
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay rate: $25.35/hr on w2.
Shift3rd shift, 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Responsibilities- Sanding and cleaning fragile ceramic substrates boards
- Assemble medical devices and components according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform manual and mechanical assembly using hand tools, microscopes, tweezers, and precision equipment.
- Follow detailed work instruction and perform data entry into electronic routers.
- Ensures safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.
- Work with Manufacturing Lead and/or Specialist to ensure customer demand and the production schedules are met.
- Participate in basic problem-solving activities to ensure stable operation of the work cell.
- Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labor to Manufacturing Lead or Value Stream Supervisor.
- Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work.
- Participate in DBS concepts and continuous improvement activities within designated work area.
- Sustain 5S activities by maintaining a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Participate as an active member of the production team and assist in product processing.
- Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Quality System.
- Complete required documentation relating to regulatory requirements.
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to read and follow documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications
- Ability to work with others collaboratively.
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Microscope experience
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
