Position Title: Logistics II

Pay Range: $25.75-$27.00 per hour

*** This position is Onsite – First Shift, 5am-3pm, Monday through Thursday***

What You’ll Do

The Logistics II position is responsible for coordinating and optimizing shipping and receiving activities, including inventory management and logistics coordination with internal teams and external carriers. This mid-level role requires a deeper understanding of logistics processes and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve shipping issues. This position reports into the Logistics Supervisor.

  • Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and vendors.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting periodic audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies, delays, and issues with vendors and carriers.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and inventory records in logistics software and ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, sales) to meet shipping deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to increase efficiency in logistics operations.
  • Train and assist Logistics I employees in day-to-day shipping and receiving activities.
  • Perform various other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager.
What You Bring
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, and logistics processes
  • Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems for tracking and inventory management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience on sit down and stand-up forklifts.
