• Lead construction projects from preconstruction planning through project closeout
• Collaborate with owners, engineers, and design professionals during planning and execution
• Develop detailed scopes, schedules, and project budgets
• Select, contract, and oversee subcontractors and vendors
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to contract specifications
• Monitor cost performance, forecasts, and budget adjustments
• Oversee contract negotiations, change orders, and scope revisions
• Ensure jobsite safety compliance and enforcement of all safety standards
• Coordinate field operations with Superintendents and subcontractors
• Manage project risks related to delays, weather, and unforeseen conditions
• Lead resolution of construction, design, and field issues
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Communicate budget status, progress, and risks clearly to clients and leadership
• Remain available to support jobsite needs, emergencies, and schedule impacts

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science
• 3–5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy highway, civil, or DOT construction
• 5+ years of overall construction experience
• Strong understanding of DOT contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (required)
• High level of construction drawing and document literacy
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to travel to jobsites as required
