At Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, the Patient Coordinator is more than a front desk role — you are the first impression and a key part of creating a calm, welcoming experience that helps patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk in. This person will have a strong focus on patient accounts receivable, including patient billing, collections, payment follow‑up, and resolution of outstanding balances.
If you thrive in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment, we’d love to meet you.
- Create a welcoming, high-energy environment by greeting patients and setting the tone for an exceptional visit
- Keep the day running seamlessly by managing the schedule, minimizing wait times, and proactively solving issues as they arise
- Serve as the connection point between patients and the clinical team, ensuring smooth handoffs and clear communication
- Support patients through their visit — from check‑in to check‑out — including scheduling next appointments and collecting payments
- Present treatment plans, explain insurance coverage, and discuss financial options with confidence and accuracy
- Stay ahead of the schedule by confirming appointments, verifying insurance, and following up on missed or late arrivals
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all processes align with HIPAA standards
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional front office environment
- Support the team with onboarding, training, and day-to-day office operations
