A highly reputable program is excited to welcome additional gastroenterologists to their academically affiliated hospital. After years of growth and increased volume, this collegial, nonprofit group is seeking general gastroenterologists to join their team. This healthcare system is a major teaching affiliate of a major Ivy League Institution and has medical students on regular rotation, as well as four in-house residency programs in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, General Surgery, and Ob/Gyn.
Physicians joining the practice will enjoy a balanced mix of procedures and clinic in a well-supported environment with access to advanced technology, strong referral patterns, and academic affiliation opportunities. This position offers an excellent combination of clinical autonomy, strong compensation, and academic engagement just outside of New York City.

- Procedures performed in a dedicated hospital procedure suite adjacent to the OR with experienced endoscopy nurses and technicians during call coverage
- Join a close-knit team of four gastroenterologists
- Preference for general gastroenterologists but open to all subspecialties
- Noncompetitive and cooperative environment

- Clinical and research opportunities
- Monday–Friday schedule with a mix of clinic and procedures
- Shared call of 1:8
- Typically limited to urgent cases such as GI bleeding or food impactions
- Approximately one call-in every 6–7 nights
- Endoscopy-trained staff available to assist
- Rounding plus approximately 1–2 cases per day
- Average hospital time: 3–4 hours per day
