Job Title
Department of English at Central Connecticut State University seeks a part‑time Lecturer in Applied Linguistics with a focus on Phonology (graduate).
Required Qualifications- PhD or ABD in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, Second Language Acquisition, or a related field
- Evidence of focus on Phonology (in research or teaching)
- Evidence of experience teaching at the university level
- Ability to teach day and evening classes in person
- Evidence of interest and/or professional engagement in Multilingualism and Second Language Acquisition
- Evidence of quality teaching experience
- Evidence of interest in issues related to decolonizing curricula
- Instruction:
Introduction to Phonology (3 credits, graduate, evening); required - Instruction:
Introduction to Linguistics (3 credits, undergraduate, day); optional - Participation in department meetings (twice per semester); required
