Submarine Tactical Responses to Adversary Technical Advances; STRATA Mid-Level Analyst

Join Valiant Integrated Services as a Submarine Tactical Responses to Adversary Technical Advances (STRATA) Mid-Level Analyst supporting the Undersea Warfighting Development Center (UWDC) in Groton, CT. UWDC, under Commander, Submarine Forces (COMSUBFOR), leads undersea superiority and enables combat lethality within the Undersea Domain.

• Provide expert guidance and recommendations for the STRATA program.
• Conduct studies and report findings from at-sea tactical exercises assessing undersea war fighting objectives.
• Coordinate the development of tactical objectives, plans, schedules, and support requirements.
• Recommend improvements in submarine equipment, operations, training, tactics, and data collection.
• Serve as a liaison between war fighting and technical communities.
• Work full-time at UWDC in Groton, CT.
• Travel approximately 5-10 times per year domestically and internationally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred, in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance.

• Expertise in submarine operations, tactics, and mission sets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to prepare reports and analyze data.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and communicate effectively with senior Navy leadership.
• Knowledge of government security protocols for classified data.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of briefing senior audiences.
• Ability to obtain a passport and driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Physical activities may include lifting, climbing, extended sitting or standing, and ascending/descending stairs.
