Position

CMHA is looking to hire a Full‑time 3rd shift, Residential Monitor for our Transitional Living Center (TLC) Program. This position will be located at 66 Clinic Dr. New Britain, CT 06051. Tuesday – Saturday 3rd shift, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM.

Compensation Range

The salary range for this position starts at $19.00 per hour.

Position Summary
  • Provides direct assistance to program clients in the accomplishment of activities of daily living, routine program chores, and personal treatment goals.
  • Demonstrates and coaches the development of skills identified as goals in the treatment plan.
  • Provides transportation for clients to maintain medical or other appointments outside the program.
  • Responds appropriately and in compliance with agency Policies and Procedures to emergent incidents/accidents that develop with clients and/or in the environment of care by contacting and reporting to 911 and chain of command.
  • Supervises self‑administration of medication with clients as scheduled, following protocols as trained.
  • Completes all shift notes and required documentation that relates to client care, and communicates all relevant activity to incoming shift staff.
  • Maintains safety, security and satisfaction of clients by monitoring the environment of care and ensuring the physical environment is in compliance with regulations, and by making and documenting routine hourly checks of clients.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Will become certified in MANDT, First Aid, and CPR.
  • Participate in trainings on an annual basis, as assigned.
