OverviewThe Hybrid DSP position provides direct support to individuals served by CCARC in both the Day Program and Residential settings. Employees in this role are cross‑trained and scheduled in each program based on organizational needs. They uphold CCARC’s mission by ensuring consistency, safety, and high‑quality support across both environments.
Primary Responsibilities Day Program Responsibilities- Support individuals in daily activities, skill development, community outings, and vocational tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily notes, goals, attendance, and progress tracking.
- Assist with personal care as needed, following program protocols.
- Encourage independence, engagement, and community inclusion throughout the day.
- Provide evening, morning, and weekend support within assigned residences.
- Assist individuals with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), household routines, medication administration (if certified, if not certified, you will be required to become certified within 6 months of hire), and community engagement.
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and nurturing home environments.
- Complete shift documentation, communication logs, and incident reporting as required.
- Attend training required to maintain competency across both program areas.
- Communicate effectively with both Day and Residential supervisors regarding scheduling, priorities, and individual needs.
- Ensure consistency in individual care plans, behavior strategies, and support approaches across settings.
- Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism when transitioning between program environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork across both departments
- Time management and ability to adapt to changing needs
- Reliable, consistent, and capable of working independently or within a team
- Knowledge of individual support plans, safety protocols, and agency policies
- Hybrid DSPs are scheduled in both the Day Program (typically weekday daytime hours) and Residential settings (mornings, evenings, and/or weekends).
- Supervision is shared between the Day Program Manager and Residential Manager, who coordinate training, expectations, and performance feedback.
