- Perform manual accessibility testing of websites, web applications, mobile applications, and digital content.
- Evaluate applications for compliance with WCAG, ADA, and Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Develop and execute accessibility test cases and document testing results.
- Identify accessibility defects and provide remediation recommendations.
- Validate accessibility fixes after remediation.
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, designers, and business stakeholders to resolve accessibility issues.
- Prepare accessibility audit reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Utilize assistive technologies and accessibility testing tools during validation.
- 3+ years of experience in Digital Accessibility Testing.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2,
ADA
, and Section 508 compliance standards. - Hands-on experience with screen readers and assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Voice Over, Talk Back, Zoom Text
, or Dragon
. - Experience with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE, Deque
, or similar. - Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience testing PDFs, Word documents, digital forms, chatbots, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with Sitecore, Salesforce, Jira
, or Confluence
. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Accessibility certifications such as IAAP (CPACC/WAS),
DHS Trusted Tester
, or Deque University are a plus.
