Our client is seeking an experienced 2nd shift manufacturing Supervisor to lead day-to-day shop floor operations and oversee a team of fabrication professionals. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment, maintaining high quality standards, and driving productivity to meet operational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support shop floor personnel in accordance with company:" it policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all workplace safety procedures

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions when issuesଠrisi">

  • Manage daily production schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to achieve on-time delivery, quality, and productivity targets

  • Support new product introductions, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Oversee employee scheduling, training, performance development, and cross-training efforts

  • Forecast departmental staffing, equipment, and capacity needs; assist with hiring and workforce planning

  • Lead and sustain lean manufacturing initiatives, including workflow optimization and workplace organization (5S)

Qualifications
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment required

  • Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and shop floor operations

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP or similar platforms) preferred

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive accountability in a fast-paced production environment
