Position: CNC Machinist (Large-Parts)
Shift: 2nd
Hour: 3:30pm - Midnight
Type: Full-Time
Mode: Direct Placement
Pay Range: $24-33
Industry: Manufacturing
Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This is a contract-to-permanent direct placement position with a key manufacturing client. To be considered for this role you will need a High School diploma or equivalent and 2‑3 years of experience with CNC Lathe/Turning and CNC Swiss machining.
Principal Duties- Set up and operate CNC machining centers.
- Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes.
- Work from blueprint requirements.
- Select tools and set feeds and speeds.
- Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools.
- Operate overhead cranes for large‑part manufacturing.
- Maintain a clean work environment and shop floor (tools, equipment, machines, etc.).
- Re‑order tools as needed.
- High School Diploma, GED, or vocational school training.
- 2‑3 years of experience with CNC milling, CNC lathe/turning, and CNC Swiss.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
