Cleanroom Production Associate

This role involves working in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment where you will support the production of life-saving medical devices. You will rotate through multiple tasks on the production floor, including operating staple loader machines, assembling components, performing light inspection under a microscope, and using computer systems to track work. Everyone receives cross‑training to perform a variety of duties, ensuring stable work and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
  • Work from written work instructions and standard operating procedures to complete production tasks accurately and consistently.
  • Log in and out of jobs using barcodes or QR codes, including signing into the computer, scanning to start and end jobs, and accurately creating and printing labels.
  • Operate staple loader machines in a cleanroom environment, including inserting staples into surgical stapling devices with a high level of precision and care.
  • Perform loading, assembling, molding, and light inspection of components, including inspection under a microscope as required.
  • Use basic math skills to support production tasks, measurements, and counts.
  • Follow strict cleanroom protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to all cleanliness and contamination control rules.
  • Rotate through different workstations on the production floor as part of a cross‑training program, learning and performing multiple tasks to support stable production.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and using required safety equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection where needed.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with supervisors and staffing partners regarding attendance, schedule changes, and any issues that may impact work.
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training, including classroom‑based training and hands‑on training in different roles and departments, and apply feedback to improve performance.
  • Meet established performance metrics and quality standards, using transparent feedback to make real‑time improvements.
  • Support team goals by collaborating with coworkers, contributing to a positive culture, and participating in company events and initiatives when invited.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of industrial experience such as warehouse, manufacturing, landscaping, trade school, automotive, or other hands‑on industrial work.
  • Ability to work from written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Basic computer skills, including scanning barcodes and QR codes, navigating computer systems such as ERP tools, and creating and printing labels.
  • Comfort working in a cleanroom environment, including strict adherence to cleanroom protocols and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Ability to use microscopes for light inspection tasks.
  • Basic math skills to support production activities.
  • Capability to perform general production, machine operation, and assembly tasks in a manufacturing setting.
  • Willingness and ability to be cross‑trained and move between different tasks and areas on the production floor.
  • Strong reliability and consistency, especially during the first month when training is critical.
  • Professional, cooperative attitude with the ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with CNC operation is a plus.
  • Experience with electric polishing is an advantage.
  • Prior cleanroom experience in medical device or similar environments is beneficial.
  • Comfort working under clear performance metrics and feedback systems.
  • Openness to structured training that includes both classroom and hands‑on learning.
  • Ability to adapt to different shifts after initial orientation on first shift.
