The Assistant Nurse Manager is recognized as the clinical expert and is a leadership role model for Registered Nurses and all staff under their supervision. The Assistant Nurse Manager directs the work to ensure the overall care of patients is managed in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing the assignment of patient care activities and ensuring staff is qualified to care for assigned patients.
• Supporting team members and ensuring quality and service excellence to patients.
• Facilitating solutions for challenging patient care situations.
• Appropriately assigning the workload and collaborating with the manager to monitor and maintain staff performance.

• BSN or related field; a candidate in the process of completing the educational requirements will be considered.
• Current CT RN license is required.
• Charge nurse or supervisory experience required & 3-5 years of nursing experience.
