Long Term Substitute Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse

LTS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) will serve as the subject matter expert in general health related areas in the educational school setting. The nurse will provide care to students with health needs, refer students to outside providers, and assist with screenings and prevention of communicable diseases. The position commences on approximately 8/19/26 with the start of the 26‑27 school year and continues until approximately 11/27/26.

This is a full‑time role for 7.75 hours per day, 5 days per week, serving Roosevelt Early Learning Center.

Nurse/LPN/RN positions will provide on‑site hands‑on management of routine and emergency health concerns as they arise at multiple health offices district wide, according to district policy, guidelines, and state law. They will distribute students’ medications daily, maintain student health records, and provide ongoing communication with parents, teachers, specialists, principals, and the health service coordinator. The candidate must be able to collect and report data as directed by the Licensed School Nurse, be well‐organized, willing to work as a team, comfortable using a computer, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

LPN or RN with CPR and First Aid Training strongly preferred; other medical certifications will be considered.
