Opportunity

Advanced Practitioners – Other Specialties

Job Details
  • Provide pre-admission testing for surgical patients in a per diem capacity, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Coordinate pre-operative care including history and physicals (H&Ps) and all required patient testing prior to procedures
  • Perform accurate pre-operative physical exams in accordance with established licensure and certification requirements
  • Consult with collaborating providers and specialists as needed to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Oversee patient care as well as administrative responsibilities including annual performance evaluations and standard operating procedures
  • Support LEAN organizational standards to standardize care, reduce waste, improve patient and provider satisfaction, and reduce preventable readmissions
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Master's program
  • Must hold an active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Connecticut
  • Board Certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP), or certification as a Physician Assistant required
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical in-person experience as an advanced practitioner required

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
