The Consolidated School District of New Britain is accepting applications for substitute school nurses. We prefer candidates with experience in pediatrics, emergency medicine/triage, or public health nursing. Applicants should be comfortable working independently and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements- Current State of Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (proof required).
- One year of experience as an LPN.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to function autonomously.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Experience documenting visit notes in electronic medical records.
- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Experience with tracheostomies and feeding tubes.
