Job Overview
Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract RN for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) position in New Britain, Connecticut.
Contract DetailsDuration: 13 weeks |
Work hours:
36 hours per week (12‑hour nights) |

Local Contract
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, provide wound care, and assist with procedures.
- Manage ventilators and other life‑support equipment.
- Provide direct patient care and ensure continuity through patient education and discharge planning.
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Perform in a fast‑paced, challenging LTAC environment requiring strong clinical expertise and critical‑thinking skills.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in long‑term acute care or comparable acute care setting.
- Strong critical‑thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and challenging environment.
- $600 travel bonus.
- Day‑1 health insurance with United Healthcare.
- PTO plan – accrue on day 1, use during contract or cash out at the end.
- Guaranteed stipend if facility cancels the assignment.
- Extra hour bonus for working over the weekly contracted hours.
