The Registered Nurse Acute (RN) - IV Therapy position focuses on providing specialized care for patients requiring vascular access. This role is ideal for experienced nurses with critical care backgrounds who are looking to make a significant impact in patient care.

  Full Time, Night shift

• Develop a plan of care for complex, multi-varianced patient populations.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Provide IV/line placement as required.
• Care for a full patient assignment with expanding responsibilities.
• Act as a preceptor and charge nurse as needed.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required

Experience:

• 1+ years of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse
• Minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience
• Critical care experience of 3 years required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Connecticut
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification required
• ICU trained
