A leading integrated healthcare system in Connecticut is seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join a high‑acuity inpatient hospital medicine team in Hartford County, working nights
. This is an exceptional opportunity to care for a diverse and medically complex patient population while working within a collaborative, physician‑supported environment.
Providers are supported by a strong hospitalist model that includes two Advanced Practice Providers and two physicians on every shift
, ensuring excellent teamwork and clinical support.
- Full‑time night schedule, 7 PM to 7 AM
- 7‑on/7‑off work rotation
- No call responsibilities

Under established clinical guidelines and in collaboration with supervising physicians, the Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner will:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Diagnose, evaluate, and manage hospitalized patients
- Develop and implement medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies and laboratory results
- Facilitate appropriate referrals and consultations

- Current or eligible Connecticut APRN licensure
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
