DVM: Urgent Care Veterinarian

A leading partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its team in New Britain, CT. The ideal candidate will possess a DVM degree and experience in urgent care medicine. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality medical care to animals in an urgent care setting.
• Diagnose and treat a range of illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribe medications and treatments as needed.
• Perform surgeries as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients about their pets' health and treatment plans.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active state license in good standing (or ability to obtain a license in Connecticut).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload, including urgent care and surgical cases.
