Job Description

Russ Hadick & Associates, Inc., a 40+ year professional search and recruiting firm, has partnered with a client in the Greater Hartford, CT area to help them search and qualify candidates for their Incoming Inspector position within aerospace manufacturing.

This is a newly created role driven by continued growth and increased demand. The company is looking to add to their quality team to support incoming material inspection and supplier quality.

Incoming Inspection & Quality
  • Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, hardware, components, and assemblies
  • Verify certifications, test reports, and supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using standard inspection tools
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
  • Record inspection results in quality systems and maintain accurate documentation
  • Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials
  • Support nonconformance reports (NCRs) and supplier corrective actions
  • Maintain traceability and inspection status of materials
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams
  • Support internal and external audits as needed
Background & Experience

Experience – Minimum 2+ years of inspection experience within aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments
.

Experience with
receiving or supplier quality inspection preferred.

Technical Skills

Technical Skills – Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and comparators
. Strong ability to read blueprints and working knowledge of GD&T.

Education

Education – High school diploma or GED required.
