Associate Research Analyst; Hybrid

The Associate Research Analyst is a full-time, hybrid position within Connecticut's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, specifically in the Office of Building and Transportation Decarbonization. The role focuses on conducting research, analyzing data, and engaging stakeholders to support transportation electrification policies and programs aligned with state objectives. Responsibilities include data analysis, policy research, participating in inter- and intra-state working groups, synthesizing regional data, and developing recommendations to support Connecticut's Electric Vehicle Roadmap and participation in regulatory proceedings.

• 7 years of professional experience in research, data analysis, or economics
• 1 year of research experience at the Research Analyst level
• Strong oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences
• Experience with research design, data analysis, statistical analysis, and report preparation
• Experience in energy policy, transportation electrification, utility regulation, or related decarbonization disciplines
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with cross-functional teams
