Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. The position provides an opportunity to excel in a growing, high‑impact, customer‑focused role, working both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues.
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they remain fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth and career development.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical:
  Stand for extended periods; lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting.
• Visual acuity sufficient for computer terminal use, reading, and inspection of small parts.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Part time

$16.94 - $23.94 per hour, representing the base hourly rate. Actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
