Electrician Instructor

Lincoln Tech in New Britain, CT seeks licensed E1 and E2 Electricians to serve as Instructors for our Electrical and Electronic Systems program.

• Deliver practical instruction in Electrical and Electronics Systems in a fully equipped facility.
• Teach the accredited curriculum and ensure a thorough understanding of electrical systems.
• Emphasize safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Encourage professionalism, accountability, and continuous development to foster student success.
• Assess and communicate student performance, providing feedback for improvement.
• Prepare students for successful careers in the electrical and electronics industries.

• 3+ years’ experience as a licensed electrician in residential, commercial or industrial settings.
• E1 or E2 license required.
• Experience in installation and service of electrical equipment.
• Understanding of single and three‑phase systems.
• Knowledge of relevant codes.
• Experience with motor controls, lighting controls or solar (plus).
• Experience or knowledge of low‑voltage systems (plus).
• High‑school diploma or GED.
• Teaching experience (plus).
