Property Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will oversee maintenance and facility operations to enhance the value and functionality of our communities. You will play a vital role in maintaining property systems, performing unit turnovers, addressing resident work orders, and ensuring all buildings are well-maintained and safe.

Property Maintenance Technician Key Duties:

• Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently.
• Handle repairs in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, painting, and flooring (non-licensed work).
• Be on call for after-hours maintenance emergencies on a rotating schedule.
• Turn over vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Collaborate daily with the property manager and maintenance supervisor.

Property Maintenance Technician Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in property maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of general building trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid CT driver's license and personal vehicle required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, shovel snow, and handle physical tasks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking software preferred.
