Maintenance Technician

-3:30 p.m.*
* ** Pay: $20-$25 per hour, based on experience*
* We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the Facilities Manager with maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who enjoys working on a variety of maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:

+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery

+ Maintain blasting machines and other plant equipment

+ Perform light fabrication and MIG, TIG, and stick welding

+ Fabricate racks and exhaust fans

+ Wire new machines and install outlets

+ Repair shop lighting and complete general plant electrical work

+ Replace motors and perform electrical control wiring

+ Maintain HVAC systems, including filter and belt changes

+ Troubleshoot oven temperature and motor-control systems

+ Maintain accurate equipment logs using Microsoft Excel

Qualifications:

+

Experience with industrial maintenance, mechanical repairs, or electrical troubleshooting

+ Welding and light-fabrication experience preferred

+ Knowledge of motors, electrical controls, and production equipment

+ Ability to work independently and assist with a variety of facility-maintenance needs

+ Basic Microsoft Excel skills

** Pay Details:**  $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
