Full-Stack Engineer – Execution Systems; Hybrid, Connecticut​/NYC

I’m supporting a private proprietary trading business that is standing up a new engineering group to build the next generation of its execution platform. This role is for engineers who enjoy working close to the metal — designing backend services, integrating complex systems, and contributing across the stack.

• Greenfield systems with genuine ownership
• Direct connection between code and trading outcomes
• High technical bar without consultancy-style politics
• Long-term platform build rather than short-term delivery cycles
• Engineers work closely with traders and decision-makers

• Backend services that power live execution workflows
• Integration with trading, data, and monitoring systems
• Platform design decisions from day one
• Frontend contributions where needed (true full-stack)
• Backend: C# and Python
• Distributed, performance-sensitive systems

This is not a Java-centric environment — engineers should be language-agnostic.

• Strong software engineers with solid fundamentals
• Buy-side or sell-side backgrounds welcomed
• Engineers who value system design and impact over buzzwords
• Mid-to-senior level, flexible on exact years
