Job Overview
DeVivo Companies currently has a full-time Fleet Technician (3rd Shift) opening at our customer facility in Lancaster, NY. In this role, you will help maintain a dedicated fleet of 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers, and 6 yard horses.
Shift Schedule & HoursEnjoy a 4-day work week with three consecutive days off.
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Thursday & Friday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

- Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards
- Follow established technical & administrative processes
- Complete repair orders and parts usage forms, PM lists and parts accountability
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
- Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
- Perform road service calls, perform road rescue/transport equipment as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules, regulations and government guidelines
- 2 years’ experience as an automotive, truck, bus or trailer technician
- Ability to prioritize, and complete job assignments
- Proficient with computer operation/usage
- Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred
- Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, can-do attitude
- Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
