Position: Fleet Technician (3rd Shift)

Job Overview

DeVivo Companies currently has a full-time Fleet Technician (3rd Shift) opening at our customer facility in Lancaster, NY. In this role, you will help maintain a dedicated fleet of 140 dry vans, 120 reefer trailers, and 6 yard horses.

Shift Schedule & Hours

Enjoy a 4-day work week with three consecutive days off.

  • Tuesday & Wednesday: 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Thursday & Friday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards
  • Follow established technical & administrative processes
  • Complete repair orders and parts usage forms, PM lists and parts accountability
  • Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
  • Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
  • Perform road service calls, perform road rescue/transport equipment as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules, regulations and government guidelines
Position Requirements :
  • 2 years’ experience as an automotive, truck, bus or trailer technician
  • Ability to prioritize, and complete job assignments
  • Proficient with computer operation/usage
  • Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred
  • Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic, can-do attitude
  • Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions
  • A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
