DeVivo Companies currently has an opening for a full-time Driver/Porter at our New Britain, CT location.

Our capabilities span fleet maintenance and repair, school and commercial bus sales and service, truck and trailer equipment including towing, refrigerated transport, yard trucks, and specialty vehicle builds, as well as a full Parts & Tools operation supporting daily maintenance needs. With twelve locations, OEM partnerships, factory-trained technicians, and extensive parts inventories, we provide complete lifecycle support for the vehicles and equipment that keep businesses and municipalities moving.

• Pick up and deliver trucks, buses and trailers
• Deliver products to our customers in a safe, professional and timely manner
• Fill out delivery logs and paperwork completely
• Verify delivery orders match the units scheduled for delivery
• Perform shop/warehouse duties during non-delivery times
• Wash and clean vehicles prior to delivery

• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with clean driving record (CDL-A preferred)
• Ability to read and comprehend maps and/or written directions
• Good communication skills with all levels of company, vendors, and customers
• Good organization skills
• Good with numbers and tracking
• Self-motivated that works well independently and with a team
• Must be able to lift 75lbs.
