Position:Tax Accountant
Schedule:
Onsite - Memorial Day to Labor Day 4-days in office. Compensation: 85-100K depending on years of experience and qualifications. Benefits:

Job Summary
The Tax Associate supports the Tax Department in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax filings while assisting with research, compliance, and tax planning initiatives. Great opportunity to get out of the Public Accounting grind and into a Corporate Tax Department.
Location:Camden County, NJ
- Prepare federal and state partnership income tax returns.
- Maintain and update tax basis depreciation schedules for a large amount of fixed assets (over $1B in assets)
- Prepare quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments for partnerships and individuals
- Assist with tax research and consulting projects to identify planning opportunities and potential tax savings
- Handle some indirect tax filings and payments
- Assist in coordinating the preparation of personal property tax returns and business license filings
- Support Canadian tax return filings, as needed
- Assist with the preparation of individual and trust income tax returns
- Maintain organized work papers and documentation to support filings and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met
- Previous experience with tax preparation software in a professional services firm.
- Public accounting experience from a large regional or national firm, a plus
- Experience with CCH Pro Sys, Lacerte, Ultra Tax or similar tax prep software
- An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or taxation
- Ability to work onsite in Camden County, South Jersey
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, strong work ethic, ability to prioritize to meet tight deadlines and the ability to work as a team.
