Overview
SENIOR AUDITOR PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRM –
Location:
Bergen County, NJ or Westchester County NY | Compensation: $ - $ per year
The ideal candidate is a CPA with the ability to run audits, reviews, and compilations independently, with no need for supervision. This is a hands-on role for a dependable and detail-oriented professional. Outstanding career potential. Very attractive base, bonuses and benefits. Our client is a prestigious, multi-location wealth management and financial services firm seeking a full-time Auditor.
Responsibilities- Independently manage audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Supervise staff and ensure timely, accurate fieldwork.
- Review financials and apply GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 842.
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluate internal controls.
- Prepare and review Form 990 and related nonprofit filings.
- Communicate clearly with clients and lead engagements.
- CPA license preferred.
- Excellent compensation package, bonus, benefits.
- Public accounting experience required (must have).
- CPA preferred; active license strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements.
