Peak Performers has partnered with a New Jersey County to assist in their search for an onsite Scanning Clerk in New Brunswick, NJ. In this position, you will be responsible for clerical work involving the preparation, scanning, and indexing of Human Service case files.
Responsibilities- Prepare, scan, and index Human Service case files in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
- Operate scanners, Windows-based computer systems, and standard office equipment to ensure accurate and timely document processing.
- Review documents for completeness and accuracy prior to scanning and data entry.
- Enter and verify data accurately within required time frames while maintaining attention to detail.
- Organize and manage files to ensure proper indexing and retrieval.
- Follow oral and written instructions while working under close supervision.
- Perform additional routine clerical tasks as assigned to support office operations.
- Proficient in the use of Windows based pc’s, scanners, and other standard office equipment.
- Proficient in typing and/or entering data.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately within prescribed time frames.
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in group environment.
- Ability to understand, remember, and carry out oral and written directions.
- Rate: $18.16/hour
- W2 Contract
