Our client, a highly regarded private equity firm, is seeking an Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to support its CEO in Bergen County, NJ.
This is a high‑visibility opportunity for a dynamic, polished professional who operates as a true right hand — not just an administrator. The Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant will serve as a strategic extension of the CEO, helping to elevate his effectiveness across both business and personal responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, managing a broad and evolving scope of business and personal priorities
- Manage complex calendaring, forward planning, and proactive reminders to keep the CEO organized and on task
- Coordinate detailed domestic travel logistics and comprehensive itineraries
- Triage high‑volume communications and ensure timely, thoughtful follow‑up
- Assist with personal administrative matters, including coordination with accountants, insurance providers, appointments, vehicle‑related logistics, and additional business interests
- Maintain visibility into key initiatives to ensure alignment, follow‑through, and continuity
- Support light office management responsibilities, including supplies and internal events
- Operate with sound judgment, discretion, and a solutions‑oriented mindset
- 5+ years of experience supporting a senior executive in finance
- Prior experience supporting a CEO, Founder, or senior leader
- Demonstrated ability to balance executive‑level support with personal assistant responsibilities seamlessly
- Dynamic, hands‑on professional who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves — no task is too small
- Strong communication skills and executive presence
- Experience in private equity or financial services
- High emotional intelligence, discretion, and maturity
- 4–5 days per week in‑office in Bergen County, NJ
- Total compensation range: $120k - $185k depending on experience
