Summary
  • Assist with PRCC reservation and calendar processing, scheduling and promotion of events and programs.
  • Assist with staff meeting planning and implementation including preparation, compilation and distribution of materials and event support.
  • Organize and distribute student staff schedule and serve as point of contact for attendance for student staff.
  • Assist with cultural engagement events and programs such as Rites of Passage and Harambee Recognition and others, including event production, promotion and logistics.
  • Utilize technology to streamline event and program promotion. This includes responsibility for data management to extract and post program‑specific information on online content management applications for PRCC website and Get Involved.
  • Set‑up and break down on‑and‑offsite rooms and equipment evaluations, data entry, filing, and report distribution.
  • Work with building managers and other PRCC team members to create consistency in workflow and program support by maintaining detailed notes.
  • Provide direct support to PRCC building managers and office assistants.
  • Develop and maintain cohesive relationships with all parties involved with execution of programs; including, but not limited to PRCC staff, student leaders and facility users; university departments and outside vendors.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.

Nonexempt

Salary: $25 hourly

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience in an administrative function.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must have a highly developed sense of customer service.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google suite.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, and attention to deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining consistency and quality of program materials.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, highly demanding work environment.
