Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator II for the Center for Minority Service. This position will devote approximately 50% of its time to programmatic support and 50% to operational support, working under the direction of the Associate Director for Programs and Communications for program-related responsibilities and the Senior Director for Operations, Finance, and Strategy on operational initiatives.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Provides administrative and logistical support for both the Center's and Institute's programs and day-to-day operations.
- Assists with the planning and implementation of programs, events, initiatives, and fellowships.
- Corresponds and engages with program participants.
- Designs and compiles program materials, providing day-of event coordination and logistical support.
- Assists with marketing and communications efforts.
- Supports the day-to-day administrative functions of the Center and Institute, assisting with office operations, coordinating purchasing and supply orders, maintaining organizational records and files, supporting travel and meeting logistics.
- Assists with financial and procurement processes, prepares operational materials and reports, and provides general administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the Center and Institute.
- Performs other operational and administrative duties as assigned.
