Location: New Brunswick, NJ
Position Type: Part-Time (25–30 Hours Per Week)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Flexible Hours
Salary: Based on Experience

Position Overview

An established Importer/Exporter Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pick & Pack Shipping Representative / Customer Service Associate to support daily operations. This is a part-time, hands‑on role ideal for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a combination of shipping, order processing, customer service, and light accounts receivable responsibilities. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Enter orders and perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy

  • Answer phones and provide professional customer service support

  • Communicate directly with customers regarding orders, shipping updates, and inquiries

  • Create, manage, and update product listings across e-commerce platforms

  • Oversee accounts receivable and assist with collections efforts

  • Maintain organized inventory and shipping records

  • Support daily office operations and administrative tasks

  • Monitor order flow to ensure timely fulfillment

  • Maintain the current operational system while identifying opportunities to improve processes

  • Implement new procedures and systems when appropriate to enhance efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Very organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (essential)

  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms

  • Basic understanding of Quick Books Desktop

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Flexible, with the ability to multitask and self-prioritize

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment

  • Quick learner with the ability to understand company operations, policies, and procedures

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
