Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a gastroenterologist to serve as Clinical Director of Gastroenterology and oversee the clinical operations of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, ensuring high-quality care, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment with the organizations goals.
This Clinical Director role involves:
- Managing our gastroenterologists clinical performance and activities, overseeing clinical staff, developing and implementing clinical strategies, and improving patient outcomes through collaboration with multidisciplinary.
- Interfacing regularly with other key GI, Department of Medicine, and hospital leadership to ensure the vision and strategic goals of the Division are fulfilled.
- Fostering clinical research and educational initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based protocols and have the opportunity to develop and expand their own clinical research interests.
- Have an active gastroenterology practice
, participate in gastroenterology fellowship education, and have the opportunity to focus in an area of their clinical interest as well as contribute to the overall academic mission of the Division. - Candidates must be board-certified gastroenterologists with leadership experience in academic or clinical.
