Hackensack University Medical Center is a 781-bed teaching and research hospital and is part of Hackensack Meridian Health, which is affiliated with Rutgers University-New Jersey Medical School. Hackensack University Medical Center is the largest provider of inpatient and outpatient services in the state of New Jersey. This is a long-standing partnership with the medical center and the position has the full support of the physician and nursing staff at the John Theurer Cancer Center.
There are multiple faculty members at Hackensack University Medical Center in the areas of Organ Transplant, Infectious Disease and Pediatrics. There are also hospital-based clinical practitioners. The department considers this a priority hire to maintain the continuity and quality of our service to and collaboration with site and the John Theurer Cancer Center.

QualificationsMinimum
Education and Experience:
Applicants must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have completed at least two years of residency training or equivalent experience. Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey.
Certifications / Licenses: Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of New Jersey. Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BCPS), or other relevant board certification, is expected within two years of hire.
